Web design in Calgary
I'm a Calgary web designer and developer. I design and hand-build premium websites for Calgary businesses, and I meet you in person to do it.

Business in Calgary
Calgary is home to many of Canada's energy head offices, and the city has spent the last decade broadening around them. Tech companies, logistics and distribution along the east side, agriculture business, finance and a deep bench of professional firms now sit alongside oil and gas. Tourism peaks every July with the Stampede, and the mountains an hour west shape how people here live and spend.

How people search here
Calgarians search by quadrant and community: "dentist NW Calgary", "physio Kensington", "renovation company SW Calgary". The city is spread out, so most people only consider businesses on their side of the river or near their commute. A site that names the communities you actually serve, and a Google Business Profile that matches it, does more than generic city-wide copy.

Areas people name in searches. A location page or a mention in the right place helps you show up for them. I also work with businesses in Balzac, De Winton, Priddis and Langdon.
Who I work with in Calgary
I work with Calgary clinics, professional firms, builders and owner-run businesses that have outgrown a template site. Most need a site that looks as good as the work they do, explains it plainly and turns visits into booked calls.
I'm based in Calgary, so we meet in person for the kickoff and the design review, at your office or over coffee. Everything in between happens on a shared preview link you can check on your phone.

Web design in Calgary: common questions
Yes. I live and work in Calgary, so the kickoff meeting and the design review happen face to face, at your office, your shop or a coffee shop near you. Small questions in between go over email or a quick call. Meeting in person tends to make the early decisions faster, because I can see your space, your team and the way you actually talk about your work.
Usually your quadrant and the communities around it. People in Calgary rarely cross the city for a dentist, a physio or a contractor, so pages that name Marda Loop, Mission or the communities you really serve match how people search. If you have several locations, each one gets its own page with its own address, hours and directions.
If your business is affected by it, yes. Restaurants, hospitality and retail near downtown and the grounds often need adjusted hours, event menus or a simple seasonal banner. I build that so you can switch it on and off yourself in the CMS, rather than redesigning a page every July. For most clinics and firms it doesn't matter, and I won't push it.
No, but Calgary is home and most of my work is here or in the towns around it. I also build for businesses elsewhere in Alberta and across Canada over video calls. The difference in Calgary is that we can sit down together, and I already know the neighbourhoods, the roads and the competition your customers compare you to.
