Web design in Sunridge / Northeast
I design and build websites for northeast Calgary businesses around Sunridge that serve a diverse, busy community and need to be easy to find and contact. I'm in Calgary.

Send me your site. I’ll look at it the way a local customer would and tell you what I’d change first. Coffee in the neighbourhood is on me if you want to talk it through.
The neighbourhood
The Sunridge area in northeast Calgary is anchored by Sunridge Mall and the Peter Lougheed Centre hospital, near 36th Street NE and Deerfoot Trail. The wider northeast is a diverse part of the city, with many family-run businesses, including South Asian, Filipino and other community-focused shops, restaurants and services. It is also close to the airport and industrial areas.

How people find businesses here
Searches are often bilingual or community-specific: "punjabi restaurant northeast calgary", "dentist sunridge", "auto repair ne calgary". "NE calgary" is a common search modifier.
Your Google Business Profile and a clear address block do most of the local work. The website gives Google something to confirm, and gives the person searching a reason to choose you over the place next door.
What your website should do
A northeast site should be clear, fast and welcoming to a wide audience. I keep the main actions simple, call or book, and where it helps, add key information in a second language. Phone and WhatsApp contact options matter here more than in many areas.
I’m based in Calgary, so we can meet in person, walk the space if it helps, and take photos that look like the real place.
Sunridge / Northeast: common questions
If a large part of your customers prefer another language, yes, at least for key pages. I can build a simple language switch for services, hours and contact details. It shows respect and helps people find what they need. It needs to be accurate, so translations come from you or a trusted translator.
Yes. People commonly search with "NE" or "northeast" rather than a community name. I use it naturally in titles and contact details along with your actual community, like Sunridge or Rundle, so both kinds of searches find you. Your Google Business Profile should use the same wording, so the two reinforce each other.
Phone first, and messaging if you use it. Many customers prefer to call or message before visiting, often to check a price, an opening time or whether someone speaks their language. I make the phone number tap-to-call on mobile and can add a WhatsApp link if that is how you work. An online form is a backup, not the main path.
