Business in Cochrane

Cochrane is a foothills town west of Calgary on the Bow River, with a historic downtown and a long ranching history. It has grown quickly as families move out from Calgary, and many residents commute. Tourism and day-trippers on the way to the mountains support its shops, cafés and restaurants.

  • Health and wellness clinics

  • Builders, renovators and trades

  • Restaurants, cafés and shops

  • Outdoor and recreation businesses

  • Real estate

  • Professional services for local families

How people search here

Locals search "near me" and by town, and visitors heading west search for things to do and places to eat in Cochrane on their phones. Residents in Sunset Ridge or Fireside want services in town rather than a drive into Calgary. Your site needs to read as part of Cochrane, with a clear address and directions.

  • Historic Downtown
  • Sunset Ridge
  • Fireside
  • Heritage Hills
  • Riversong
  • GlenEagles

Areas people name in searches. A location page or a mention in the right place helps you show up for them. I also work with businesses in Bearspaw, Ghost Lake and Morley.

Who I work with in Cochrane

I work with Cochrane clinics, builders, shops and owner-run businesses who want a site that looks as considered as their work. Most need it to serve two audiences: locals who book again and again, and visitors who find them once.

Cochrane is a short drive from Calgary, so I can meet you in person for the kickoff and design review. In between we work over email and a shared preview link.

FAQ

Web design in Cochrane: common questions

  1. Yes. Cochrane is a short drive from Calgary, so I'll come to you for the kickoff and the design review. Meeting at your shop, clinic or office tells me a lot about the business, from the light for photos to how people find the door downtown. Everything else happens over email and a preview link you can check any time.

  2. Lead with what both need: hours, location, parking and what you offer. Then give visitors a short reason to stop in on the way west, and give locals the things that bring them back, like events, new stock or a booking link. A clear map and opening hours matter more for downtown businesses than almost anything else on the page.

  3. Only if you actually serve Calgary. Builders, trades and some professional firms do work in west Calgary and Bearspaw, and a service-area page makes sense for them. A clinic or café is better off being the obvious choice in Cochrane. Spreading too thin makes a small business look less local, which is usually its strength here.
