Web design in Chinook / Manchester

I design and build websites for businesses around Chinook and Manchester that need to be found along a busy Macleod Trail corridor. I'm in Calgary and meet in person.

Send me your site. I’ll look at it the way a local customer would and tell you what I’d change first. Coffee in the neighbourhood is on me if you want to talk it through.

The neighbourhood

The Chinook area is anchored by CF Chinook Centre, a major regional shopping mall on Macleod Trail S. Just north and east is Manchester, an older light industrial area with auto shops, trades, wholesalers, gyms and a growing number of breweries and showrooms. The corridor mixes big-box retail with small owner-run operations.

How people find businesses here

Searches are practical and service-led: "auto repair macleod trail", "tile showroom calgary", "gym near chinook". People often add the mall or Macleod Trail as a landmark when they search.

Your Google Business Profile and a clear address block do most of the local work. The website gives Google something to confirm, and gives the person searching a reason to choose you over the place next door.

What your website should do

For businesses here, the site has to make you easy to find in an area that can be confusing to navigate. I add clear directions from Macleod Trail and the station, photos of the building, and quote or booking forms that ask only what you need.

I’m based in Calgary, so we can meet in person, walk the space if it helps, and take photos that look like the real place.

FAQ

Chinook / Manchester: common questions

  1. Show them. Industrial bays look alike, so I add a photo of your exterior and signage, a map pin that lands on your door rather than the building, and plain directions from Macleod Trail. Mention the bay number and where to park. It saves phone calls and lost customers.

  2. Yes, by being specific. The mall's stores compete on brand names. You compete on what you do and where you are. Clear service pages, accurate hours, a well-kept Google Business Profile and honest reviews on Google help you show up for people searching nearby for exactly what you offer.

  3. Show ranges or starting points where you can. Buyers comparing tile, flooring or fixtures often shortlist showrooms online before visiting. Even a rough idea of price level and what is in stock tells them whether the trip is worthwhile. I keep it editable so you can update it as stock changes.
