Web design in Sunnyside
I design and build websites for Sunnyside businesses that serve a walkable, transit-heavy neighbourhood across the river from downtown. I'm in Calgary and meet in person.

Send me your site. I’ll look at it the way a local customer would and tell you what I’d change first. Coffee in the neighbourhood is on me if you want to talk it through.
The neighbourhood
Sunnyside is a small inner-city community on the north bank of the Bow River, tucked below the escarpment of McHugh Bluff and Crescent Heights. Its Sunnyside CTrain station and river pathway make it an easy place to reach by transit or bike. Businesses are mostly small and independent, often blending into the Kensington shopping area on its western edge.

How people find businesses here
People search with the station or neighbourhood: "physio sunnyside calgary", "coffee near sunnyside station". Many overlap with Kensington searches, so both names are worth using where they are accurate.
Your Google Business Profile and a clear address block do most of the local work. The website gives Google something to confirm, and gives the person searching a reason to choose you over the place next door.
What your website should do
A Sunnyside site should make the walk, bike or train trip easy. I add clear directions from the station and the Peace Bridge, bike parking notes, and booking that works in a few taps. Small studios get schedules and first-visit pages so newcomers feel welcome.
I’m based in Calgary, so we can meet in person, walk the space if it helps, and take photos that look like the real place.
Sunnyside: common questions
Use whichever is accurate, and both where it fits. Sunnyside businesses near 10th Street are often thought of as Kensington, and people search both. I name your actual community and mention Kensington where you are within easy walking distance, without stuffing either into every sentence.
Yes. A lot of Sunnyside customers arrive by CTrain, bike or on foot from downtown over the Peace Bridge. A short directions block covering the station, pathways and bike parking makes coming in easy and shows you know the neighbourhood. It belongs on the contact page and in your Google profile.
A clear schedule, simple booking and a first-visit page. People trying a new class or clinic want to know what to bring, how long it lasts and what it costs before they commit. I keep the site small and focused so it is easy for you to keep current.
