Website checklist for day spas
A day spa website has to sell calm before anyone arrives, then make booking and gifting simple. This checklist covers treatments, packages, gift cards and booking basics, then everything else I check.

What a spa website must get right first
Spa visits are often a treat or a gift. People want to know what each treatment involves, how long it lasts, what to bring, and how to buy a gift card. I start with clear treatment pages, packages, and gift cards that work well online, especially before holidays.
How to use this checklist
28 checks in 7 groups.
Open your website in another tab and go group by group.
Tick an item only when you have checked it on the live site, on a phone as well as a computer.
Start with content and conversion.
Those groups are the most specific to day spas, and they are where most enquiries are won or lost.
Leave technical and AI search items for last.
They matter, but they are easier to fix in one pass, and the free tools linked below help with most of them.

A note on compliance
Your website can count as advertising under the rules that apply to day spas. The compliance items here are prompts to check, not legal advice. Rules differ by province and change over time, so read the current standards from your regulator or licensing body before you publish testimonials, comparisons, prices or outcome claims.
Day spas websites: questions
What happens, how long it takes, who it suits, the price and any reasons not to book it. People relax when they know what to expect.
Around holidays, yes. Gift card buyers often have never visited, so they need an easy path that works on a phone and delivers instantly.
A salon books a person for a known service. A spa sells an experience, often to someone new. That means more explanation, more atmosphere, and a stronger gifting path.
