Website checklist for physiotherapists
A good physio website answers three things quickly: do you treat my problem, do you direct bill my insurer, and when can I get in. This checklist covers that and everything else I check on every clinic site.

What a physio clinic website must get right first
Most physio patients arrive with a specific injury and a benefits plan. The site needs condition pages, a clear direct-billing list, and booking straight into each physio's calendar. Motor vehicle and WCB patients have different paperwork, so give them their own path.
How to use this checklist
29 checks in 7 groups.
Open your website in another tab and go group by group.
Tick an item only when you have checked it on the live site, on a phone as well as a computer.
Start with content and conversion.
Those groups are the most specific to physiotherapists, and they are where most enquiries are won or lost.
Leave technical and AI search items for last.
They matter, but they are easier to fix in one pass, and the free tools linked below help with most of them.

A note on compliance
Your website can count as advertising under the rules that apply to physiotherapists. The compliance items here are prompts to check, not legal advice. Rules differ by province and change over time, so read the current standards from your regulator or licensing body before you publish testimonials, comparisons, prices or outcome claims.
Physiotherapists websites: questions
Condition pages and a clear direct-billing page usually do the heavy lifting. People search for their problem and their insurer, not for a clinic name. Each condition page should link to booking.
Yes. They have different paperwork and different worries about cost. A plain page that explains how claims work at your clinic answers questions your front desk would otherwise repeat all day.
One page per location with its own hours, team and map, plus shared condition and service pages. That keeps each location findable without duplicating content.
