Schema markup generator for chiropractors
Chiropractic clinics should use MedicalBusiness, since schema.org has no chiropractor type. Fill in the form and I’ll build valid JSON-LD you can paste into your site’s head.

The properties that matter for chiropractors
Type: MedicalBusiness. Every property below is a real schema.org property.
| Property | Why it matters |
|---|---|
knowsAbout | Without a dedicated type, this is where you say what the clinic does. Adjustments, soft tissue work and sports care help search tools categorise you. |
description | Name the profession in the first sentence. “Chiropractic clinic in Kensington” is clearer to a machine than a brand line. |
openingHours | Walk-in and same-day availability matter for acute back pain. Accurate hours help search tools answer “open now” questions. |
address | Chiropractic is a near-me search. Your address must match your Google Business Profile exactly. |
Common mistakes
Using the Physiotherapy type because it’s the closest-sounding option. It describes a different profession. MedicalBusiness is the honest fit.
Making health claims in the description that your regulator wouldn’t allow on the page. Schema text should match your visible content.
Marking up patient testimonials as reviews. Self-serving review markup isn’t eligible for review stars on LocalBusiness in Google.
How to add it to your site
- Replace every example value in the form with your own details. They should match your Google Business Profile exactly.
- Copy the code and paste it into your page’s
<head>. Most site builders have a custom code field. On a hand-built site, it goes in the template. - Test the live page with Google’s Rich Results Test and validator.schema.org, and fix anything they flag.
- Add the same facts to the visible page. Structured data should describe what visitors can see. My website checklist for chiropractors covers the rest.
Schema for chiropractors: questions
No. Chiropractic exists as a medical specialty value, but there’s no chiropractor business type. I use MedicalBusiness and describe the work in knowsAbout and the description.
List services and common concerns in plain language, the same ones your page describes. Keep it consistent with what your college permits you to advertise.
No. Your profile drives the map listing. Schema on your site helps search engines and AI tools confirm the same facts from a second source.
