Website checklist for roofing companies
A roofing website has to answer two things fast: can you fix my roof, and can you help with the insurance claim. This checklist covers roofing types, hail claims and service areas, then everything else I check.

What a roofing company website must get right first
Many roofing enquiries follow a storm, and the homeowner is stressed. They want to know you handle their roof type, how the insurance claim works, and that you are not a storm chaser. I start with clear service and material pages, a hail-claim explainer, and local proof.
How to use this checklist
28 checks in 6 groups.
Open your website in another tab and go group by group.
Tick an item only when you have checked it on the live site, on a phone as well as a computer.
Start with content and conversion.
Those groups are the most specific to roofing companies, and they are where most enquiries are won or lost.
Leave technical and AI search items for last.
They matter, but they are easier to fix in one pass, and the free tools linked below help with most of them.

Roofing companies websites: questions
Yes. After hail, many homeowners are dealing with an adjuster before they call a roofer. A clear page on how claims work and what you do in that process answers their first question.
If you install several, yes. People search for metal roofing or flat roof repair specifically, and a dedicated page answers better than a single services list.
Show a local address, years in the area, real jobs in named communities and a warranty you will be around to honour. Those signals are hard for a crew from out of town to fake.
