A cleaning company’s website has to make people comfortable letting you into their home or office, then make booking simple. This checklist covers services, trust and booking basics, then everything else I check.

What a cleaning company website must get right first
Clients are giving strangers access to their space, so trust is the first hurdle. They also want to know exactly what is included and how pricing works. I start with clear service checklists, staff screening and insurance details, and a booking flow that asks the right questions.
How to use this checklist
28 checks in 6 groups.
Open your website in another tab and go group by group.
Tick an item only when you have checked it on the live site, on a phone as well as a computer.
Start with content and conversion.
Those groups are the most specific to cleaning companies, and they are where most enquiries are won or lost.
Leave technical and AI search items for last.
They matter, but they are easier to fix in one pass, and the free tools linked below help with most of them.

Cleaning companies websites: questions

Clear screening practices, insurance, named team members and a satisfaction policy. People want to know who is coming into their home and what happens if something goes wrong.
Yes. Offices care about after-hours access, consistency and invoicing. Homeowners care about trust and detail. Each deserves its own page.
