Duda vs Webflow
Both are tools for professionals, not owners. Duda fits an agency running many similar local business sites; Webflow fits a designer or in-house team building something custom-looking with a strong CMS. If you’re the client, Webflow usually gives you more direct access to your own site.

Side by side
Ratings are my own assessment for a typical small business, as of October 2026. Platforms change their features and plans often, so check the vendor’s current documentation before you decide.
| Duda | Webflow | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | A white-label builder agencies use to build and manage client sites. | A visual tool that writes real HTML and CSS, for people who think like developers. |
| Ownership and portability | Platform-onlyThe site usually lives in the agency’s account; its export is a static copy. | PartialCode export on paid Workspace plans; CMS content exports only as CSV. |
| SEO control | StrongGood controls, including schema for local businesses. | ExtensiveFine-grained control over tags, redirects and markup. |
| AI-search readiness | MixedDecent structure; content quality depends on the agency. | GoodServer-rendered HTML; schema via custom code. |
| Performance | GoodA stated focus of the platform. | GoodGenerally good; heavy interactions can cost speed. |
| Design freedom | LimitedFlexible for a builder, still a builder. | UnlimitedClose to hand-built freedom for a skilled designer. |
| E-commerce | BasicAvailable, not its strength. | BasicWorks for small catalogues; fewer advanced commerce features than a dedicated platform. |
| Maintenance burden | MinimalThe agency handles it. | MinimalHosting and updates managed. |
| Learning curve | GentleBuilt for professionals, not owners. | SteepThink of it as learning web design. |
| Pricing model | Agencies pay Duda; you usually pay the agency a monthly fee that includes the site. | Per-site hosting plans plus workspace seats; CMS item counts and features scale by plan. |
| Day-to-day editing | Usually by the agency; clients may get a simplified editor. | The Webflow Editor for content, the Designer for layout. |
Which one suits you
Choose Duda if…
- you want a simple, fast local business site run entirely by an agency
- you have no interest in editing it yourself
- speed and local SEO defaults matter more than unique design
Choose Webflow if…
- you want a distinctive design built by a skilled designer
- you need structured content like case studies or a resource library
- you want your own Webflow account and finer SEO control
The difference that matters most
Design ceiling and account ownership. Webflow gets close to hand-built freedom and the site can sit in your own workspace. Duda is a capable builder, but still a builder, and it usually lives in the agency’s account.
A franchise of dental clinics getting ten near-identical sites suits Duda. A SaaS company with a design lead and a growing library of customer stories suits Webflow.
Where each one leads
Counted from my ratings in the table above.
Duda leads on learning curve.
Webflow leads on ownership and portability, seo control, ai-search readiness and design freedom.
Best fit for Duda: businesses whose agency manages the site end to end. Best fit for Webflow: marketing teams with a designer who knows web layout.
Switching between them
From Duda, the export is a static copy, so collect content and the URL list from the agency and rebuild. From Webflow, code (on paid Workspace plans) and CMS collections (as CSV) export, which gives the next platform a head start. Webflow’s redirect list exports too.
Duda vs Webflow, answered
Yes. Sites can live in your own workspace, with a designer invited as a collaborator. That’s worth asking for.
Both perform well. Duda makes speed a priority by default; Webflow is generally good but heavy interactions can cost speed.
Webflow gives you more SEO control. Duda: Good controls, including schema for local businesses. Webflow: Fine-grained control over tags, redirects and markup.
Duda (platform-only): Account owners or staff can export a static copy (HTML, CSS and images); forms and other dynamic features stop working. Ask your agency what you’d get before you sign. Webflow (partial): HTML, CSS and JavaScript on paid Workspace plans; CMS collections as CSV.
