Web design in Edmonton

I design and build premium websites for Edmonton businesses. I'm based in Calgary and work with Edmonton clients over video calls, with an in-person kickoff when it helps.

Business in Edmonton

Edmonton is Alberta's capital, so provincial government, the University of Alberta and major hospitals are large parts of the city's economy. The Industrial Heartland northeast of the city anchors petrochemical and energy processing, and Edmonton is a long-standing service and supply base for northern Alberta. A strong independent restaurant, arts and festival scene rounds out the mix.

  • Health and dental clinics

  • Law, accounting and advisory firms

  • Builders, renovators and trades

  • Energy and industrial services

  • Restaurants and independent retail

  • Real estate and property management

How people search here

Edmontonians search by neighbourhood and side of the river: "physio south Edmonton", "dentist Windermere", "restaurant Whyte Ave". The surrounding cities, like St. Albert and Sherwood Park, are separate searches with their own loyal customers. A site that names the areas you serve, backed by a matching Google Business Profile, wins those local searches.

  • Downtown
  • Old Strathcona / Whyte Ave
  • Ice District
  • 124 Street
  • Windermere
  • Garneau
  • Summerside
  • South Edmonton Common

Areas people name in searches. A location page or a mention in the right place helps you show up for them. I also work with businesses in Beaumont, Fort Saskatchewan, Stony Plain and Devon.

Who I work with in Edmonton

I work with the kind of Edmonton businesses that want a site built properly rather than assembled from a template: clinics, firms, builders and owner-run brands. They need a clear story, real photos and a site that turns visits into calls and bookings.

We work over video calls with a shared preview link, which keeps the project moving as well as in-person meetings would. I'm in Alberta and can come up for a kickoff if it helps.

FAQ

Web design in Edmonton: common questions

  1. Yes. Most of a website project is decisions and feedback, and that works well over video calls and a shared preview link you can open on any device. I'm also in Alberta, so the time zone, the market and the provincial rules are the same. If an in-person kickoff would help, I can come up for it.

  2. Usually specific areas. Edmonton is large and split by the river, and people tend to search for services on their side of it or near home and work. Pages that name the neighbourhoods you serve, like Windermere or Old Strathcona, match those searches. If you have multiple locations, each gets its own page with its own details.

  3. Only if you actually serve those customers. St. Albert and Sherwood Park residents often prefer local businesses and search by their own town's name. If you have a location there or regularly work there, an honest page with real details helps. If you don't, it's better to focus on the Edmonton areas you know.

  4. By making current information easy to update. Restaurants, venues and shops near Whyte Ave, 124 Street or the Ice District often see busy weeks around festivals and events. I build the site so you can post hours, menus or event notes yourself in a few minutes, keeping it accurate when people check on their phones before heading out.
